. Masks Best Tips and Practices as Mask Mandates Increase Nation-wide with the Latest Covid Surge
by Ayo Handy-Kendi, the Breath Sekou
Wearing a mask or a face-covering, during the last 2 years since the Covid 19 pandemic, has become a real "hot-button" controversial issue. I.m. not writing this article to make any condemnations about wearing masks as the best strategy or not. However, what I do want to weigh in on, are tips to make wearing a mask an effective strategy. Here are a few tips that I.ve been gathering with my studied observations.
1. The latest research indicates that COVID 19's Delta Variant is stronger than the original virus and more transmissible airborne. Time to think logically. A mask offers some protective covering whereby breathing in the air, sneezing, coughing, or loose mucus that can carry the virus from one person to another, is blocked to some degree. Makes sense to wear a mask or some face covering indoors especially, while in crowds, and when around people that you are not familiar with. Don't assume that a mask is fool-proof.
2. Wearing a mask all day long, without geting some natural air can create an imbalance in your level of oxygen up-take. Find a safe space, like outdoors in nature, or in a protected indoor space, where you can "take a deep breath" of natural air as safely as possible, as often as possible.
3. Wearing ill-fitted masks, or masks that don't cover the nose or cover the nose and not the mouth, are not quite doing the thorough job needed.
4. Research is not suggesting that our cloth masks are not as effective as the surgical masks available. I am noticing that I can breathe a lot easier through the surgical mask , but the strings around my ears are quite painful. Look for the best surgical masks you can afford that are comfortable. The N95 is still the most recommended.
5. Put a tiny drop of peppermint, 100% therapeutic grade essential oil into the mask to help your lungs breathe better while wearing a mask. This is really helpful for folk who have respiratory challenges.
6. Also I have found that if I'm wearing my mask effectively over my nose, and mouth, that my breathing becomes more shallow within a short period of wearing it, and I also start holding my breath. To circumvent feeling light-headed, exhausted, or head achy after hours of mask-wearing, I highly recommend BREATHE THROUGH YOUR MOUTH, WHEN YOU FEEL THE NEED, IN ORDER TO INHALE DEEPER.
7. With that concept in mind, now is a great time to "relearn how to breathe" as 9 of 10 Americans, don't breathe efficiently and have been doing so since early childhood, which then shows up in adulthood, as oxygen deprived cells, limited oxygen circulation and uptake, creating a host of health related risk due to cellular restrictive breathing. Consider we breathe, 20,000 times a day, it is critical that we make each breath effective and counts.
8. This is also a perfect time to stop smoking, loose weight, drink adequate water to hydrate our pounds, eat more alkaline and less cooked foods in a balanced diet and work on up-grading everything that will help us re-build our immune system, like checking out our indoor air quality and adding more oxygen -rich plants to our indoor environment.. A weak oxygen starved immune system, masked or not, vaccinated or not, is in jeopardy of catching toxicity in the air and trapping it in our lungs.
9. After wearing your masks do not leave them around the house, and don't wear the same mask over and over. Throw away the surgical masks after a day of wear, and wash cloth masks consistently, usually after a day's wear. Please don't share masks, either, not even with your close friends or relatives..
10. Evaluate your circumstances for common-sense mask protections and practices. Of course if you are in the company of a large crowd of strangers, and you are with them for a long period of time, then you must be extra cautious. But wearing a mask while you are in the safety and comfort of your own car is taking mask-wearing beyond the reasonable limits. Give yourself some breathing space from wearing a mask, so that you can breathe easier to detoxify naturally.. Watch dusty rooms, chemical contaminants, mold/mildew and insect pests that discard their skins, leaving them in the air,
Last, keep prayed up and your stress level down. Ensure that you keep hope alive with limited stress which wreaks havoc on our immune defenses. Laugh often and smile fully, which helps us breathe better, creating happy hormones, such as the neurotransmitters dopamine and serotonin. Get lots of rest to recharge the brain. Wear loose and less-restrictive outfits made of natural fibers like silk, linen, wool and cotton, and step away as much as possible from polyesters, spandex and other man-made fibers that restrict the skin from breathing efficiently. Keep your bowels flowing and detox the kidneys and liver with herbs, periodically.
Use this time to take care of your life, Spirit, Mind and Body. Know that this pandemic will also eventually past. We are going to make

Lingering Symptoms After Being Positive for COVID-19
Post-COVID-19 Syndrome
COVID-19 symptoms can sometimes persist for months, thereby increasing the risk of long-term health problems.
This condition has been termed as ‘long COVID-19” or “post-COVID-19 Syndrome,’ and people experiencing this condition are referred to as ‘long haulers.’
What’s surprising is that these people continue to experience symptoms that linger well after even testing negative for coronavirus.
According to Dr. Sandeep Lahoti, a gastroenterologist leading the COVID-19 Recovery Clinic at Houston Methodist,
“We’re seeing continued evidence that a fair number of people who have had COVID-19 continue to feel the effects of this illness for weeks to months after recovering from the worst of their symptoms or complications.”
While doctors are still unsure as to how long these symptoms can persist, reports and evidence show that they can last at least six months and even longer in some people.
The cause of these lingering COVID-19 symptoms is also unclear, and doctors don’t know for sure as to why the post-COVID-19 syndrome occurs. However, hypotheses suggest that it could due to prolonged inflammatory response and hidden areas of infection.
Furthermore, the question about the long-term outcomes of these lingering symptoms is also not so clear, given that there aren’t any such outcomes. Although doctors and researchers know that coronavirus can certainly impact the quality of life, it is too soon to assume that it could cause ongoing organ damage or other such severe effects.
What Are The Symptoms of Post-COVID Syndrome?
Just like how COVID-19 brings with it a host of mild to debilitating symptoms, the same way the post-COVID-19 syndrome also comes with a range of lingering symptoms.
The most common symptoms that one can experience after being positive for COVID-19 include:
According to what doctors have said about the post-COVID-19 syndrome, people with serious medical conditions and older people are most likely to experience lingering symptoms. However, even young and healthy people without any medical history tend to feel unwell and tired post-initial recovery.
In terms of life-threatening COVID-19 cases, doctors assumed that patients who suffered a stroke or severe pneumonia are the only ones who would require post-recovery specialized care after being discharged. It isn’t exclusive to those people; people with mild COVID-19 symptoms also run a high risk of lingering symptoms.
Dr. Sandeep Lahoti has said that “Some studies show that only 10% of people with COVID will go on to develop the post-COVID syndrome, while other studies are showing much higher percentages — some even suggest that up to 70% of people experience persistent symptoms.”
However, if we were to narrow it down to particular groups of people, individuals that are most at risk of developing post-COVID syndrome include:
Regardless of how quickly COVID-19 has spread worldwide, a lot is still unknown about this virus. Doctors are suggested to closely monitor people affected by COVID-19 so that they can observe how their organs work and function post-recovery.
Furthermore, numerous medical centers in different parts of the world are opening up specialized clinics and care centers to help and provide care to people experiencing lingering symptoms after recovering from COVID-19.
What To Do When Experiencing Post-COVID-19 Syndrome?
If an individual happens to experience lingering symptoms after recovering from COVID-19, the first thing they should do is schedule an appointment with their primary care physician.
A medical professional will help determine the severity and intensity of your symptoms. If the symptoms are mild, they will probably prescribe you some medications and suggest some self-care treatment options.
However, if the symptoms are severe, they might hospitalize you or refer you to a specialist who has experience in advanced COVID-19 cases.
Since this virus’s symptoms are so diverse, and it’s such a unique kind of condition unlike any other that the world has seen before, you must get immediate help if you experience the post-COVId-19 syndrome.
Key TakeawayThere’s no denying the fact that COVID-19 has wreaked massive havoc all over the world, and the post-COVID-19 syndrome has only made matters worse.
The lingering symptoms of coronavirus can range from mild to serious, but the long-term effects have been quite serious in most cases so far.
While most people with COVID-19 generally tend to recover quickly, there are potential long-term effects and long-lasting problems from COVID-19 that one can experience even after the initial recovery.
At this point, it is now more important than ever to reduce the spread of coronavirus by following all SOPs and necessary precautions such as keeping hands clean, using a sanitizer, avoiding touching your face, wearing masks, and avoiding large crowds.

Vitamin C and an Interview with Dr. Andrew Saul, Premiere Authority on the Use of Vitamin C
By Citizens For Health Coronavirus Suzanne Jenkins April 1, 2020
Hello, Everyone,
Dr. Andrew Saul – the premier authority on the use of Vitamin C, gives you the information you need as well as letting those in your sphere of influence know that Vitamin C is being used to fight COVID-19 in OTHER countries.
Our government and media disseminate “false news and dis-information” when they declare we individuals can NOT strengthen our immune systems. It is just NOT part of conventional medicine’s standard-of-care which has laws to protect its limitations since it is the ONLY form of medicine that can “diagnose, cure, and mitigate disease.” Add to that scenario censorship and information blackouts regarding Vitamin C and other nutritional supports – including anti-inflammatory diets and targeted supplements that support one’s immune reserves and reduce one’s susceptibility to pathogens including viruses.
The word is getting out anyway. Information blackouts (censorship) haven’t stopped people from buying up all of the Vitamin C available locally and online.
There is a very long history of Vitamin C and its success in treating viruses. The Chinese and other countries are currently using Vitamin C against COVID-19. It is easier for countries to use BOTH the best of ancient wisdom and western medicine because they don’t have politicians bought by lobbyists and media supported with Big Pharma advertising. There are vested interests with serious money who are NOT putting public health before profits and power.
Dr. Saul said that the studies on Vitamin C show that Vitamin C as Sodium Ascorbate is used intravenously and that Ascorbic Acid is used orally.
He doesn’t mention it in this interview but he aborted his own viral pneumonia in 3 hours using 2,000mg of Vitamin C ORALLY every 6 minutes. That is worth remembering if you or a member of your family develops pneumonia.
I watched my Father die with pneumonia in a hospital setting. I watched a friend die from pneumonia in a hospital setting. Both were denied Vitamin C.
If you are on hospital turf, you follow their rules or try to get legal intervention in time before death becomes a reality.
Please listen to Dr. Saul’s interview and pass it on.
For those planning to wait for a vaccine to save them, the wait may take awhile and like everything else, THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES.

Caputo immediately began tracking the progress, publishing the first clinical report of the progress on April 22. The report showed that proning improved the oxygen saturation levels among 50 individuals with COVID-19 — some of whom had oxygen saturation levels as low as 69. After five minutes of proning, the mean oxygen saturation level was 94.
The technique soon spread in New York, Caputo says, which he believes is one of the reasons that the seriousness of infections has decreased. “I’ve heard from physicians around the world, they've been trying this and they've been having pretty good success with improving oxygenation and holding off on intubating patients,” he says. “And I think the numbers within New York City back that up. Late March, early April, we were intubating several hundred patients a day; then we started doing this and it caught on in the rest of the city, that number dropped to a few dozen a day.”
Caputo is careful to note that the technique is not perfect. Not everyone in his clinical review responded the same way. But overall, he hopes it is something that emergency rooms continue to adopt nationwide. “It’s not a panacea, it’s not a cure-all,” he says. “But it’s a way to buy time for some patients, and other patients, it’s a way to prevent intubation — cause we know this: If you get intubated, your odds of having a poor outcome in terms of mortality is around 50 percent.”

How a free, extremely low-risk ER procedure is saving lives from coronavirus
Abby Haglage

Doctors have begun using a technique called "proning," or shifting patients on their stomach, to prevent serious illness from the coronavirus. Here, a patient with COVID-19 in an Italian hospital. (Photo: Marco Mantovani/Getty Images)
More than 1 million people have recovered from the coronavirus, according to data from the Johns Hopkins University, a marker of success that can be traced to various factors. Ventilators, experimental drug treatments and a better understanding of the virus all have surely helped saved many lives.
But there’s an even simpler solution that’s quietly being implemented in emergency rooms across the globe, one that doctors say could be saving countless lives: proning.
Proning, a technique that involves having patients lie on their stomach, is actually more complex than it sounds, requiring six people to pull off safely. A well-known method in intensive care units, it’s long been used to improve the breathing of those suffering from acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Now being used in many ERs, it’s proving to be a low-risk, highly effective way to improve the breathing of COVID-19 patients early on — and prevent many from having to be put on ventilators.
Related: The COVID-19 Breathing Technique Taking Over the UK
According to one resident at an emergency room in Chicago (who requested anonymity because of his job), his team is now “proning as much as possible” with COVID-19 patients. While it may seem puzzling that simply being on your stomach could improve oxygen flow, the resident explains why it’s highly effective.
“When we’re laying on our backs, our diaphragm is pushed up by our abdominal organs and our lungs don’t expand as much as they could, especially the back part of our lungs,” he tells Yahoo Life. “When we prone patients ... you're allowing the diaphragm to sink low, because the abdominal organs are kind of falling with gravity, which allows the lungs to expand further and allows the back part of the lungs, which are normally being compressed when you're on your back to expand more, to allow for ventilation. So you're basically opening up more of the lungs to participate in gas exchange.”
The rise of this technique in New York City, the epicenter of the U.S. outbreak, can be traced to Dr. Nicholas Caputo, associate chief of the ER department at Lincoln Medical Center in the Bronx, one of the hardest-hit hospitals in the nation. Caputo says that when COVID-19 patients first began flooding the hospital’s critical care units in early March, proning was not part of the protocol.
“The sort of paradigm at the time was to intubate early,” Caputo tells Yahoo Life. This made sense for patients who were clearly experiencing respiratory distress. The problem was, many patients arriving to the ER weren’t clearly in distress — they were experiencing what’s referred to as “silent hypoxics,” or breathing trouble with no symptoms. This means that despite appearing normal, their oxygen saturation level, or the amount of oxygen in the blood (normally between 95 and 100) has fallen sharply.
“These people would be on their cellphones, or just having a conversation, [seemingly fine but] with oxygen saturation in the 70s, 60s or even 50s. ... These patients were getting intubated because everybody didn't know how to approach them,” says Caputo. “So nurses were freaking out, doctors were puzzled and it was chaos.”
Given the high mortality rate of those put on ventilators, Caputo and his team began thinking of other options to prevent having to take that step. Inspired by a study conducted in Italy in late January in which physicians there showed positive results from proning COVID-19 patients, they began to try it. “We thought maybe that would help, so we started proning in the emergency department pretty early on.”
Within minutes of turning patients with low oxygen saturation on their stomachs, they saw oxygen saturation levels jump back into the normal range. “Patients who were coming in with oxygen stats in the 70s ... once we proned them, after about a few minutes, they'd be up in the low 90s,” says Caputo. “That sort of brought the temperature down in the room, we could kind of take a step back and breathe.”
11 Ways To Kill COVID-19 In Your HomeAs a highly contagious strain of COVID-19 crops up around the world, many are worried about the likelihood they’ll come in contact with the virus.
COVID-19 spreads through person-to-person contact, or through contact with surfaces that a person with COVID-19 touched, according to the Mayo Clinic. So, while we’re out and about in public, we wear masks and practice social distancing to protect ourselves and others.
At home, we can take additional steps to stay safe.
1. Agree on a household routine.
To protect your household from COVID-19, be sure everyone understands their cleaning responsibilities and routines. Also, make a checklist of objects you use or touch. Perhaps one group cleans the first floor while another group tackles the second floor, or one person cleans while the other one follows behind and disinfects.
2. Focus on frequently touched surfaces.
COVID-19 survives on surfaces for a few hours to days depending on air temperature and sunlight, according to the Centers for Disease Control. Focus on things that you touch daily – doorknobs, faucets, toilets, handles, remotes, and appliances.
3. Clean, then disinfect as people come and go from your home.
You can prevent spreading COVID-19 in your home by wiping surfaces with soap and water, then following up with a disinfectant. The soap and water remove dirt and germs while the disinfectant kills any pathogens. Be sure you do this cleaning routine daily if people are coming and going from your home.
4. Open windows to improve ventilation.
Keep fresh air moving through your home by opening windows and running fans whenever possible. Good airflow will help keep the disease from spreading and clear out fumes from cleaning products.
5. Use disposable gloves while cleaning.
Don’t use your bare hands to clean and disinfect surfaces because cleaning chemicals can irate your skin. Ideally, use a pair of disposable gloves, especially if you’re cleaning an ill person’s space. If you don’t have disposable gloves, rubber gloves are okay. However, the CDC says not to use rubber gloves for anything other than cleaning and disinfecting surfaces. Wash your hands as soon as you remove the gloves.
6. Speaking of disinfectant, make sure you’re using the right type.
Some cleaning products on the market claim to fight COVID-19, but they don’t contain the ingredients proven to kill viruses. The Environmental Protection Agency maintains up-to-date lists of products known to kill viruses on both hard and porous surfaces. The best disinfectants contain ethanol, hydrogen peroxide, or quaternary ammonium, according to the Mayo Clinic. Some common examples are alcohol-based wipes, Clorox, Lysol and Microban, according to UCI Health.
7. Household bleach is an affordable, long-lasting disinfectant for household surfaces.
One bottle of bleach can pack a lot of cleaning power. You can create a disinfectant mixture by adding 1/3 cup of bleach to 1 gallon of water. Or, use 4 teaspoons of bleach and 1 quart of water if you want a smaller batch. Spray the mixture and let it sit on a surface for 10 minutes. Then wipe the bleach mixture off with a wet cloth, according to Wired Magazine. Don’t mix bleach with any other cleaning products to avoid dangerous fumes, according to the CDC.
8. Don’t forget those electronics.
As you’re cleaning surfaces in your home, also think about the various items you’re bringing into your home. That means mobile phones, cameras, laptops, and other gadgets you may pull out and use in public. If you’re not sure how to safely clean devices, consult the manufacturer’s directions. Otherwise, wipes containing 70% alcohol are usually okay to wipe down electronic surfaces and screens.
9. If you have children, leave your shoes outside.
The World Health Organization says it’s unlikely you’ll track COVID-19 into your home on your shoes. However, the organization suggests that if you have children who regularly spend time on the floor and crawl around, you can leave your shoes outside as a preventative measure.
10. Do not let dirty face masks sit around.
If the reusable face mask you wear gets wet or dirty, put the face mask in a plastic bag until you can wash it. Wash your face masks in the washing machine or by hand, according to the CDC. Then, be sure your face mask is dry before wearing it again. Throw disposable masks away after one use. Wash your hands whenever you remove your face mask.
11. Disinfect your mail, if necessary.
If you live in an apartment building or multiple people come in contact with your mail, consider wiping it down with a disinfectant before opening it. Though health experts say COVID-19 does not spread through the mail, the virus can live on cardboard for as long as a day before it dies.

Early Signs You're Catching the Flu
Here’s when to freak out—and when it’s just a cold.

Being aware of all the early signs you are catching the flu is crucial in not only your recovery, but also to prevent spreading the deadly illness to others—especially during this pandemic. Read on, and to ensure your health and the health of others, don't miss these Sure Signs You've Already Had Coronavirus. So what are the symptoms you need to know about?First, remember that the flu can cause mild to severe illness. Some people will get the flu and feel a little off, perhaps not even realizing they are sick. And obviously, for others it can be a life-or-death situation.
The CDC points out that one major difference between the cold and flu is that the flu tends to come on rather suddenly. Often, symptoms include:
While a fever is one of the more common flu symptoms, the CDC reminds us that not everyone with the flu will burn up. So, just because you have a normal body temperature doesn't mean you are flu-free.
As for the order of symptoms to expect, Peterson Pierre, MD, reveals that "sudden, excessive fatigue is one of the earliest signs of the flu, followed by chills and body aches."
While the majority of the people who get the flu will make a recovery within a few days or less than two weeks without any medical intervention, some people will develop complications—ranging from sinus and ear infections to life-threatening cases of pneumonia, inflammation of the heart (myocarditis), brain (encephalitis) or muscle (myositis, rhabdomyolysis) tissues, and multi-organ failure (for example, respiratory and kidney failure). Additionally, flu virus infection of the respiratory tract can trigger an extreme inflammatory response in the body and can lead to sepsis, the body's life-threatening response to infection. Those who are already suffering from chronic medical problems like asthma or chronic heart disease can experience a worsening of their conditions.

8 Ways to Catch COVID OUTSIDE
#1 Crowded Areas: Now that more parks, trails, beaches, sidewalks, markets, and streets are open, these areas will be more densely populated, making people closer to each other. It would be a good idea to avoid such densely populated areas. You should consider carrying around a mask, in case you find yourself in a situation where you are surrounded by people. #2 Personal Items: Think about all the surfaces you touch. Once you touch something outside or inside it can easily be transferred to a personal item. We are all aware of our phone but also consider your glasses. Coronavirus can live on hard surfaces for up to three days, this is why it is so important to clean your personal items regularly so that you can protect yourself #3 Checking Out: When you are purchasing something consider all the people before you. Maybe use your own stylus or pen with the ink retracted to punch the bottoms. If it something you need to touch, wash or at a minimum sanitize your hands after. Don’t forget to NOT touch your eyes, nose, or mouth before having a chance to wash, or apply an alcohol-based hand sanitizer, so you prevent catching a virus. #4 Banking: Keep in mind that at the drive-up bank, ATM, or the spray wash for your car, pressing the buttons will expose you to many germs. Consider wearing a glove or using a pen and at minimum keep a bottle of hand sanitizer inside your pocket or in your car. This way you can clean your hands once you are done. |
#5 Door Handles and Railings: They are everywhere. Think of all the dirty hands before you. There are plenty of viral particles on door handles and railings, which then get transferred to the next person. If you need to use the rail or handle, keep a pair of gloves on hand for when you need them. If hot, you may not want to wear gloves so carry some hand sanitizer with you. After you have used the hand sanitizer remember to wash with soap as soon as you can to really clean your hands.
#6 Public Transit: This may be the hardest area to avoid germs. Busses, subways, taxies, etc. To prevent contacting COVID 19 in these areas its best to wear your mask and avoid touching surfaces. That bottle of sanitizer in your pocket will help disinfect your hands after grabbing the door handle or seat back on the subway. You can also consider opening doors with your sleeve, gloves, tissue, or paper towels. #7 Sharing drinks: Even if it’s your best friend, sharing food or drinks puts you at risk. It will put you at risk because they may have COVID-19 and not know it. Your friend could be asymptomatic, and you could be putting yourself at unnecessary risk so it is best to keep your food and drink to yourself. #8 Working Out: When people are running or working out, they are breathing harder and this can cause a more rapid spread if they were to have COVID. Coronavirus’ “Letter To Humanity A poem by Vivienne R Reich
The earth whispered but you did not hear.
The earth spoke but you did not listen.
The earth screamed but you turned her off.
And so, I was born…
I was not born to punish you…
I was born to awaken you…
The earth cried out for help…
Massive flooding. But you didn’t listen.
Burning fires. But you didn’t listen.
Strong hurricanes. But you didn’t listen.
Terrifying Tornadoes. But you didn’t listen.
You still don’t listen to the earth when
Ocean animals are dying due to pollutants in the waters.
Glaciers melting at an alarming rate.
Severe drought.
You didn’t listen to how much negativity the earth is receiving.
Non-stop wars.
Non-stop greed.
You just kept going on with your life…
No matter how much hate there was…
No matter how many killings daily…
It was more important to get that latest iPhone than worry about what the earth was trying to tell you…
But now I am here
And I’ve made the world stop on its tracks.
I’ve made YOU finally listen
I’ve made you take refuge.
I’ve made you stop thinking about materialistic things…
Now you are like the earth…
You are only worried about YOUR survival.
How does that feel?
I give you fever … as the fires burn on earth.
I give you respiratory issues … as pollution fills the earth air.
I give you weakness as the earth weakens every day.
I took away your comforts…
Your outings.
The things you would use to forget about the planet and its pain
And I made the world stop…
And now…
China has better air quality … Skies are clear blue because factories are not spewing pollution unto the earth’s air.
The water in Venice is clean and dolphins are being seen. Because the gondola boats that pollute the water are not being used.
YOU are having to take time to reflect on what is important in your life.
Again, I am not here to punish you … I am here to Awaken you…
When all this is over and I am gone… Please remember these moments…
Listen to the earth.
Listen to your soul.
Stop Polluting the Earth.
Stop fighting among each other.
Stop caring about materialistic things.
And start loving your neighbors.
Start caring about the earth and all its creatures.
Start believing in a Creator.
Because next time I may come back even stronger…
Signed,
Coronavirus

My Basic Tools for Grounding to Cope and Support Myself
Linda T.·Monday, August 6, 2018· 7-6-16, edited 9-2-18
The Basic Tools I use are GROUNDING, VENTING, SHIELDING, SALTING, SMUDGING, and what I call “BEING A RIVER”.
GROUNDING is about being in your body and connecting to Mother Earth, wherever you are. For me, it can be as simple as stepping outside and looking at nature. It can also be accomplished just by holding a rock, sitting on a wooden floor or bench, petting or handling an animal, gently touching a house plant, or meditating in the wilderness. It can even be accomplished just by visualizing doing such things.
- CHECKING IN with your body is as simple as actually noticing what you are seeing, hearing, smelling, touching, and tasting right this very minute.
- SQUARE BREATHING is as simple as breathing in through the nose to the count of 4, holding it to the count of 4, breathing out through the mouth to the count of 4, and holding it to the count of 4. Sometimes I purposely increase the count, but always to all four steps.
- CONNECTING TO NATURE is as simple as observing or imagining yourself outside. Feel the exchange of your breath with the trees. Relax and look at the sky. Connect.
Open your heart to let any pain out, and to let all the love that is in nature IN.
Get OUT of your head, and INTO your body. You are in a body for a reason. BE in your body - not drifting with thought, or drowning in emotion, but BEING your physical self.
Feel the muscles of your body, your heart beating, your feet holding you up. Appreciate that you are human; and as such, a part of nature, a part of all that is.
VENTING is just letting the energy of an E-motion (Energy in Motion) OUT.
When we consume something that isn’t good for us, our bodies will try to get rid of it -
and fast. We may get diarrhea, or even vomit. When we are consumed with certain Emotions, it can be like that - something best done in strict privacy. Generally:
Using your body helps to keep the energy moving - things like Dance, or Thai Chi.
When we are mad, any physical activity helps (even screaming into or punching a pillow!)
When we are sad, crying helps. When we are overwhelmed, laughing helps.
When we are confused or frustrated, talking helps. And sometimes we need a listener.
But be careful. Sometimes when we talk about a problem we move from venting to "inventing", or making more of it than there was to begin with. So just beware. Whatever you are doing should feel "wholesome" or "healthy" - even if it doesn't feel fun, or pleasant.
SHIELDING is visualizing putting up an energetic wall to keep stuff out. It is not something I do except as an emergency protection procedure because I have learned that “Being a River”(see below) is just as effective and much more pleasant. But when I need to,
I imagine white light pouring down from above and encasing me in a bubble that nothing can penetrate without my permission. It takes a bit of meditation to get a solid sense of it, but it is very effective. If I don’t have time to do this effectively, I blow a bubble, quickly with my breath - as if I am blowing a bubble with chewing gum all around me.
SALTING is just using the crystals of salt to draw out any negativity and stress.
It can be done to items or locations by simply placing things on a layer of salt or placing small bowls of salt in the area. To draw the negativity and stress out of myself, however, I use
- A SALT BATH:
1 cup Sea Salt (though Kosher salt from the grocery store works and is much cheaper),
1/2 cup Epsom Salt, and
1/4 cup Baking Soda (sodium bicarb, like Arm & Hammer)
Plus a few drops of any essential oil you might like, based on Aroma Therapy
(like lavender for sleep, lemon for revitalization, frankincense for peace, etc.)
The object is to imagine all the stress being drawn out of every pore of your body.
- SALTING IN THE SHOWER:
(I keep a plastic milk quart bottle full of Kosher salt near my shower for this purpose.)
The object is to use the salts on any part of your body that is weak, injured, or just feels stressed; and on each of your chakras, front and back - forehead, back of head, throat, back of neck, heart, between your shoulder blades, upper stomach, mid back, just below belly button, low back, and crotch; plus joints - like shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles)
Procedure:
- Step out from under the water and hold a handful of salt over the body part and picture the salt soaking up any stress as you picture that stress as a foggy flow oozing out.
- Step back into the flow of water a little bit, and let the water mingle a bit with the salt as if "activating" it.
- Feel the power, and let all the now "dirty" salt wash away.
SMUDGING is just using the smoke of a sacred substance to cleanse and bless the energy, mood, or vibration of a person, place, or thing. Some of the common substances historically burned for this purpose are SAGE, SWEET GRASS, CEDAR, and PALO SANTO.
Generally, the process involves...
- Placing the chosen substance in a safe container (glass, for example, can crack);
- Lighting it, using pure charcoal or natural leaves and twigs as a base if it is wooden;
- Fanning out the flame with a feather, fan, or your hand (do not add your breath to it);
- Let it smolder so that it is producing a good amount of smoke;
- Use the feather, fan, or your hand to direct the smoke around the body, place, or thing;
- Focus your intention on dispelling all unpleasantness, discord, and old energy as you go;
- Allow the substance to burn itself out in a safe place & manner, or totally extinguish it.
"BEING A RIVER" of Love is simply the practice of Loving Kindness that Shields.
It takes a little time to get the flow started, and some effort to keep it going, but here’s how:
- Imagine the top of your head soaking up sunlight as a warm, life-giving energy. Feel it on your face and filling your head. Let that energy really flow into you, enlightening and enlivening each cell as it spreads down your throat, warms your chest, runs down your arms, fills your chest, soothes your torso, and flows down your legs and out your feet.
- Now imagine that your feet are sending roots into the ground. Begin to feel a delightfully soothing energy coming up from the heart of the Earth and filling up your legs. Let it spread through your groin, into your stomach, and fill your heart - mingling with the sunlight as it kisses every cell along the way.
- Let these energies merge in you, the Light from the Sun and the Love from the Earth.
If you can really get this energy going, it is incredibly delightful; and it will melt away anything yucky, and fill you with a yummy energy. When you feel like laughing, or like your heart is over-flowing, then you have it.
- Keep that flow going, really get it flowing, and let it pour out of your heart. It is a river of Love and Light, and your are BEING that river. Nothing bad can get near you because the river just pushes it out of the way. It is flowing in you, and from you, and toward others.
If I can think of anything else - or if you have any suggestions for me - I will add them here.

- Placing the chosen substance in a safe container (glass, for example, can crack);
- Lighting it, using pure charcoal or natural leaves and twigs as a base if it is wooden;
- Fanning out the flame with a feather, fan, or your hand (do not add your breath to it);
- Let it smolder so that it is producing a good amount of smoke;
- Use the feather, fan, or your hand to direct the smoke around the body, place, or thing;
- Focus your intention on dispelling all unpleasantness, discord, and old energy as you go;
- Allow the substance to burn itself out in a safe place & manner, or totally extinguish it.

- Let's examine the real science that is not being shared in news reports.

It is a joy to see those of you who are stepping up your research into the events happening in the world surrounding the declared pandemic, as well as that set of maladies which are stealing people's natural heal balance in our modern times.
Here are some great resources for your benefit. I thank you in advance for this investment which will uplift the entire generation.
Coronavirus Researcher's Kit 2 April 2020 - I have now done 30 LIBRadio broadcasts on these topics surrounding this Panic Pandemic and 20 of which are included in this package. Yet there are still some who would project that I am not capable of speaking with authority on these topics! Within this series we address such issues as CoVID in the meat supply, comparing various testing methods, providing real solutions to boosting our immunity, exposing how 11 different causes of death are linked by a bogus antibody test, the political and economic impact of a global shutdown, why Blacks are being targeted for "surveillance bias," is there a link between 5G wireless and CoVID, why ventilators make matters much worse, and much more. Includes a 20-page excerpt from PANIC, and 124 references for your further research. Get this entire package at a 70% discount for only $29.99. Okay, skeptical critics: What YOU got? (LIBMP3-200425-CoV2)

Coronavirus Researcher's Kit March 2020 - This is a large collection of dozens of research papers from peer review scientific journals, news reports, and informed opinions by health professionals. As well I've included five recent broadcasts from LIBRadio with over 7 hours of detailed sharing of the research and explanation of what is being exposed. I contend that this body of research proves that the panic over the 2019-nCoV so-called coronavirus is largely a mythology created by a variety of self-interested parties. This research will show that these coronavirus deaths represent less than 6% of already occurring pneumonia deaths, mostly to the elderly and those with damaged immune systems. Further, the testing process for this pathogen, based on questionable antibody testing technology, is fatally flawed and thus we might say that no one has been proven to be infected with what was previously regarded as a mild infection. $29.99 (Research-200310)
Direct Link https://store.payloadz.com/go/?id=2638054
When we seek to clarify how so many people's illnesses are being called CoVID-19, and why American Blacks suddenly became the face of this pandemic, we need to know that people are suffering from 11 previously-existing diseases (co-morbidities) that are being reclassified as CoVID-19 deaths, often without testing for antibodies.
Coronavirus-2019 and Co-Morbidities - Today on www.LIBRadio.com we engage another data-based, forensic look at the 2019-nCoV pandemic. Italy has admitted that 99% of its deaths are among those with multiple serious conditions and average age 79.5 years. Is the public being "bamboozled?" Our examination goes further to look at testing, drugs and proposed vaccines that are being RUSHED onto the market. Is this safe medicine?
Thank you for stepping up to create this new global paradigm shift. We have an immense set of resources and we can change the world. $5.00 (LIBMP3-20033)

SPIRITUAL FEAST & SPA by Iyanla Vazant
In these times of uncertainty, it is hard not to focus on the negative — but it is possible because there is another way of looking at the world.
I would like to offer you some possibilities.
Rather than focusing on fear and anxiety, I am offering you a feast of ancient wisdom and time-tested principles that will feed your mind, heart, and soul. This feast is in the form of 7 short guided meditations that you can listen to several times throughout the day.
As you pull up to the feasting table, it is my intention that you will know and remember that we are all in this together, and we will get through it. I am serving this Spiritual Feast as a demonstration of my love for you and my commitment to our collective well-being.
Download your plateful here.
Also, last fall, I started to try a new way of connecting with you live, and answering your questions: I began hosting Spiritual Spas. In today’s world, a spa is a physical location that offers provides a variety of services for the purpose of improving health, beauty, and increasing relaxation....We aren't going to many of those at the moment.
A Spiritual Spa is a place or activity that focuses on things concerned with sacred matters that affect the spirit or the soul as opposed to material or physical things, such as beauty or the body.
...We have plenty of opportunity to do that at the moment — exactly where we are, and as we are.
The Spa provides a time to relax, renew, and recharge. To connect with yourself, to breathe deeply, and set a new intention.
I'm inviting you to join me on Thursday so that we can do that together, even though we're so far apart. And, if nobody has told you today,
I love you., Iyanla
Join me at the Spa, live on Thursday,at 8pm EST >> Click here to sign up
Save my seat!
YOU are the light, love, and joy that the world needs, Beloved. Make sure you take care of your Self. I'll see you at the Spa, Beautiful Friend

VIRUS PREVENTION TIPS
How To Make Your Own Hand Sanitizer
The Outdoor Wear Team March 31, 2020 No Comments
When it comes to preventing the spread of infectious diseases like COVID-19, nothing beats good old-fashioned hand-washing. But if water and soap aren’t available, your next best option, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)Trusted Source, is to use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60 percent alcohol. Due to the rapid spread of the novel coronavirus, most retailers can’t keep up with the demand for hand sanitizer. All it takes is three ingredients to make your own hand sanitizer at home.
Isopropyl or rubbing alcohol (99 percent alcohol volume), aloe vera gel, an essential oil, such as tea tree oil or lavender oil, or you can use lemon juice instead.
The key to making an effective, germ-busting hand sanitizer is to stick to a 2:1 proportion of alcohol to aloe vera. This keeps the alcohol content around 60 percent. This is the minimum amount needed to kill most germs, according to the CDC.
What You’ll Need:
3/4 cup of isopropyl or rubbing alcohol (99 percent)
1/4 cup of aloe vera gel (to help keep your hands smooth and to counteract the harshness of alcohol)
10 drops of essential oil, such as lavender oil, or you can use lemon juice instead
Directions:
Pour all ingredients into a bowl, ideally one with a pouring spout like a glass measuring container.
Mix with a spoon and then beat with a whisk to turn the sanitizer into a gel.
Pour the ingredients into an empty bottle for easy use, and label it “hand sanitizer.”
Hand sanitizer formula combines:
Two parts isopropyl alcohol or ethanol (91 percent to 99 percent alcohol)
One part aloe vera
A few drops of clove, eucalyptus, peppermint, or other essential oil.
Adhere to these tips:
Make the hand sanitizer in a clean space. Wipe down counter tops with a diluted bleach solution beforehand.
Wash your hands thoroughly before making the hand sanitizer.
To mix, use a clean spoon and whisk. Wash these items thoroughly before using them.
Make sure the alcohol used for the hand sanitizer is not diluted.
Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until they are well blended.
Do not touch the mixture with your hands until it is ready for use.
For a larger batch of hand sanitizer, the World Health Organization (WHO)Trusted Source has a formula for a hand sanitizer that uses:
Isopropyl alcohol or ethanol
Hydrogen peroxide
Glycerol
Sterile distilled or boiled cold water

4 Mild Symptoms Of Coronavirus You Should Not Ignore
The Outdoor Wear Team March 26, 2020
Many persons will already be aware that the early warning signs include a dry cough, high temperature and fatigue. It’s understood that some may also experience breathing difficulties, which is when hospital treatment may be needed. But there are also lesser-known mild symptoms that a number of those later diagnosed with coronavirus have reported experiencing. With more than 400,000 already officially diagnosed struck down with the illness globally, experts are beginning to understand more about the virus.
1. Tummy Ache
A bad stomach might be more commonly associated with bugs like norovirus. But some Covid-19 patients have reported experiencing tummy ache just before developing the other known symptoms. A new study, published in the American Journal of Gastroenterology, suggests people might experience digestive issues, such as diarrhea, when they are infected with coronavirus. Researchers analysed data from 204 patients with Covid-19 in China’s Hubei province and they discovered that 48.5 per cent of these patients arrived at the hospital with digestive symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting or abdominal pain.
2. Brain Fog
Some people may experience brain fog, also known as mental fatigue, as another symptom of coronavirus. It’s not been officially looked into as a symptom but it’s another indicator that those who have experienced the illness have reported experiencing.
3. Eye Infections And Loss Of Taste And Smell
Doctors have warned that a loss of taste or smell could also be a sign of coronavirus. The British Association of Otorhinolaryngology, which represents experts in ear, nose and throat medicine, has said that those who lose these senses should self-isolate immediately – even if you have no other symptoms. They added that the eye infection conjunctivitis may also be another sign. In a statement, the docs said: “Evidence from other countries that the entry point for the coronavirus is often in the eyes, nose and throat areas. “We have also identified a new symptom (loss of sense of smell and taste) that may mean that people without other symptoms but with just the loss of this sense may have to self-isolate – again to reduce the spread of the virus.”
4. Fatigue
Another symptom that coronavirus patients have reported is feeling extremely fatigued before symptoms develop. According to a report in the Journal of the American Medical Association, up to 44 per cent of those hospitalized with Covid-19 reported exhaustion and fatigue.
